Meadows Buildings has been in business since 1997, but they’ve been building pole barns across Oklahoma and nearby states for more than three decades. In addition to being Oklahoma pole barn builders, the company also builds custom homes, metal buildings, outdoor kitchens, garages and more.

Meadows is a Better Business Bureau Accredited Business, they are fully licensed and bonded, and they are a member of the Home Builders Association of Greater Tulsa.

The company’s owner, Douglas Meadow, is heavily involved in the building process to ensure the highest quality and standards.

Oklahoma Pole Barn Builder Specialties

Although best known for their pole barns in Tulsa, OK, Meadows specializes in a wide variety of buildings, including:

  • Metal buildings
  • Detached garages
  • Custom homes

The company constructs wood frame buildings with metal siding. They can construct buildings up to 50 feet wide and any length. Widths above 50 feet will require a set of poles down the middle for additional support.

Construction Timeline

Meadows states that their timeline is generally two weeks from start to finish, but this is just an estimate. Weather and the size of the building can affect the timeline.

Keep in mind that this timeline includes construction, pouring of concrete and installation of the overhead doors.

Service Area

Meadows services the state of Oklahoma as well as parts of Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas and Texas.

Meadows Buildings Warranty

Meadows Buildings backs their products with a one-year original manufacturer’s warranty that covers the lumber, metal and trusses.

Meadows does not offer financing directly, but they can recommend a bank that offers quick pre-qualification and a favorable interest rate.

If you prefer to pay for the building outright, Meadows accepts check, cash and credit cards.

The company does require a $1,000 deposit upon signing a contract to construct your building.

Meadows Buildings uses 29 gauge metal for their walls and roofs. If local building codes require 26 gauge metal for the roof, Meadows will accommodate this need at no additional cost.

The company’s buildings include overhead doors created by Mid America. Insulated and non-insulated door options are available.

Buyers can also choose up to three colors for their building at no extra cost.

Shipping Costs and Finishing Costs

If your building site is located more than 75 miles from Meadows’ office, you will be charged an additional trip fee.

Meadows also offers general contracting services for pole barn homes and can handle the finishing of pole barn home interiors.

The site will need to be prepped prior to construction. Grading and excavation can be done through their contractors, or you can use your own. These costs are not included in the building quote.

Meadows can send their contractor to your site to provide a site evaluation and estimate. If you decide to use their contractor, you will pay the contractor directly and sign a contract with him/her.

Meadows Buildings provides free quotes right over the phone or email. Buyers may also visit their headquarters in Catoosa to view their display building and learn more about the building process.
